Using The 5th Peg
5th Peg Boards come with a fifth peg located in the center row of the board that conveniently allows you to keep track of the number of games you are ahead of your opponent.
Simply start with the peg in the starter hole as you do with your scoring pegs and advance it to indicate number of games won.
If you lose a game simply move it backwards.
Peggers find this is an accurate and convenient means of keeping track of the game differential with your opponent.
